This petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed seeking modification/correction in the order dated 23.04.2026 passed by this Court in MCRC No. 2500 of 2026. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant had earlier preferred MCRC No. 2500/2026 seeking grant of regular bail in KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 connection with Crime No. 515/2025 registered at Police Station-Bhilai Nagar, District-Durg (C.G.) for the offences punishable under Sections 296, 115(2), 119(1), 351(3), 118(1) and 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and this Court vide order dated 23.04.2026 was pleased to allow the said bail application. It is further submitted that while preparing the order, due to an inadvertent clerical/typographical error, the name of the applicant in the cause title of the aforesaid order has wrongly been reflected as "Rajesh Baghel" instead of his correct name, i.e., "Rajesh Bagh". It is submitted that on account of the aforesaid inadvertent error, the applicant could not avail the benefit of the bail order and therefore, in order to avoid any further procedural complication and to secure the ends of justice, the present petition has been filed seeking correction of the applicant's name. 4. Learned State counsel submits that the mistake appears to be clerical in nature and has no bearing on the merits of the case. She has no objection if the inadvertent error is corrected. 5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the record, this Court finds that due to an inadvertent clerical/typographical error, the name of the applicant in the cause title of the order dated 23.04.2026 passed in MCRC No. 2500/2026 has been mentioned as "Rajesh Baghel" instead of "Rajesh Bagh". Since the correction sought is only with regard to the name of the applicant and does not affect the merits or operative part of the order, the prayer made by learned counsel for the applicant appears to be reasonable and deserves to be allowed. 6. Accordingly, in the order dated 23.04.2026 passed by this Court in MCRC No. 2500/2026, wherever the name of the applicant is mentioned 3 as "Rajesh Baghel", the same shall be read as "Rajesh Bagh". 7. Consequently, the present CRMP is allowed. 8. The order dated 23.04.2026 passed by this Court be modified as mentioned above. 9. A copy of this order be placed in the record of MCRC No.2500 of 2026.
