ORDER The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute with regard to the sale transaction and not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry based on the petitioner’s representation dated 02.03.2026.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, he sold the property to the 4th respondent as the power agent of the 3rd respondent. The 4th respondent, after purchasing the property, lodged a complaint alleging that the mother of the petitioner had not vacated the property. Based on the said complaint, the respondent police are harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for Respondents Nos.1 and 2 would submit that after conducting an inquiry, the complaint has been closed as it pertains to a Civil dispute. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
