Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 30.06.2026. in connection with Harla P.S. Case No. 159 of 2025 for the offences registered under Section 80 of the B.N.S. 2023, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro. 3. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband and his wife committed suicide in her parents’ house by writing a suicide note. The learned counsel has read out a suicide note from the case diary which is available with him and he submits that no allegation has been made against the husband or his family members. The victim has primarily said sorry to her mother that she was committing suicide, although she did not want to commit suicide and the deceased also said that her mother had to face a lot because of her. 4. The petitioner is in custody since 30.06.2026. The learned counsel submits that two of the accused persons have been enlarged on anticipatory bail by this court in B.A. No. 1497 of 2026 and so far as petitioner is concerned his anticipatory bail being ABA No. 1582 of 2026 has been rejected. 5. Learned counsel for the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that there is direct allegation of demand of dowry and the deceased had committed suicide within 05 ( 2026:JHHC:24322 ) 2 months of her marriage and the investigation is still going on, the petitioner may not be enlarged on bail. The marriage was solemnized on 22.05.2025 and she committed suicide on 10.10.2025. 6. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that there is direct allegation of demand of dowry and the lady committed suicide within 5 months of marriage and the investigation is still going on, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. So far as the suicide note is concerned the reason for committing suicide is not clear. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner above named is rejected. 7.
