After hearing for a while, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that award has been drawn, whereas, petitioner has already approached Deputy commissioner, Reasi as competent authority for land acquisition on 15.05.2025 in terms of an application under Section 3H of the National Highways Act, seeking a reference of the dispute with regard to the apportionment of compensation of land of the petitioner, however, the said authority is sitting over it and has not referring the matter to the Principal Civil Court having jurisdiction over the area for deciding the reference. 02. He further submits that this petition can be disposed of by directing the respondent No. 3- Deputy Commissioner, Reasi (Competent Authority for Land Acquisition )to consider and decide the said application at the earliest. 03. Mr. Karan Singh, Advocate appearing vice Mr. Vipan Gandotra, Advocate, waives notice on behalf of respondent No. 1&2 and Ms. Nazia Fazal, Advocate appearing vice Mrs. Monika Kohli, learned Sr. AAG waives notice on behalf of respondent No. 4. They express no objection in allowing the prayer of the petitioner. 06. In view of the submissions made and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of, by directing respondent No. 3-Deputy Commissioner, Reasi (Competent Authority for Land Acquisition), to consider and decide the petitioner's application dated 15.05.2025 strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the date a copy of this order is made available to the said authority. 07.
