The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Balidih P.S. Case No. 250 of 2024, registered for the offence under Sections 325, 317(2), 292 and 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Slaughter Prevention Act, 2005, Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960 pending in the court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement and the petitioner has nothing to do with the alleged allegation of slaughter of the bovine animal. He submits that nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by co-ordinate Bench this court in A.B.A. No.6999 of 2024. He further submits that the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 10 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement. 5. Considering that the name of the petitioner has come on the confessional statement and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 10 of the petition and the co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail by co-ordinate Bench of this court in the 2026:JHHC:24219 aforesaid A.B.A. and only allegation is made that the bovine animals were being carried for slaughter in the house of this petitioner, in the attending facts and circumstances, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro, in connection with Balidih P.S.
