PATIL) This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 26.02.2024 passed by the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18493-DB C.C.C. No.1106/2024 learned Single Judge in W.P.No.5089/2024 (S-RES). The operative portion of the order reads as under: "(i) The writ petition is allowed in part; (ii) The respondents are hereby directed not to relieve the petitioners if they are still rendering their service in the respondent No.3- Society against the vacancies subject to filling up of those vacant posts through proper recruitment process. (iii) The pending interlocutory applications, if any, do not survive for consideration and stand disposed of accordingly." 2. The present contempt petition is filed alleging that despite the order of the learned Single Judge, the accused relieved the complainants from their services. The respondent No.1 filed an affidavit indicating that the complainants are continued in the services of the accused- Institution. 3. The learned counsel for the complainants has specifically pointed out that for 11 months, the complainants were out of service as the accused relieved them from their services. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18493-DB C.C.C. In reply, learned counsel for the accused, on instructions, submits that insofar as the issue regarding payment of amount for the aforesaid period of 11 months is concerned, they would consider the request of the complainants and take necessary decision. 5. Taking note of the aforesaid submission and the fact that the complainants are working in the accused- Institution, the contempt proceedings are closed.
