Petitioner was appointed on compassionate grounds on 23.02.2008 on contract basis as a Clerk. He instituted this writ petition 28.07.2026 seeking direction to the respondents to consider his appointment as a regular

Learned Deputy Advocate General pointed out that aforesaid decision has been stayed by the Hon'ble Principal Division Bench vide order dated 01.07.2026 passed in CWP No. 15796 of 2025 (Aslam Mohammad vs. State of H.P. and others), alongwith connected matters including LPA No. 194 of 2026 (State of H.P. and another vs. Vikas Kumar).

Petitioner’s grievance is that his representation (Annexure P-5), seeking applicability of Vikas Kumar2 has not been decided till date by the respondents/competent authority. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be content in case the respondents/competent authority(s) are directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation in accordance with law within a fixed-time schedule. Learned Deputy Advocate General is not averse to this prayer.

In view of above, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents/Competent Authority to consider and decided the aforesaid representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, within six weeks, after adjudication of of LPA No. 194 of 2026 and in terms thereof.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
