1. This is a second round of litigation and the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the following prayer:-
"i) the impugned order dated 23.03.2026 rejecting the representation of the petitioner for
consideration of his candidature for appointment on the post of Nurse Grade-II may kindly be declared illegal and arbitrary and therefore, the same may kindly be quashed and set aside on this ground alone. ii) the impugned act of the respondents in not giving posting to the humble petitioner vide order dated 05.10.2021 and impugned act of the respondents in verbally rejecting the candidature of the humble petitioner for appointment on the
[2026:RJ-JP:16631] (2 of 3) [CW-6784/2026] post of Nurse Grade-II may kindly be declared illegal and arbitrary and therefore, same may kindly be quashed and set aside. iii) by issuing the writ of mandamus, order or direction in the nature thereof respondents may kindly be directed to treat petitioner as eligible under Outstanding Sportsman quota and to appoint humble petitioner on the post of Nurse Grade.II with all consequential benefits; iv) Any other appropriate order or direction which this Hon'ble Court deems just and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case may kindly also be passed in favour of the petitioners."
2. In the first round of litigation, the petitioner sought permission of this Court to file representation before the respondents in terms of the order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in SB CWP No.234/2025 (Sumitra Runla and Ors. Vs. State of Rajasthan and Anr.) dated 15.12.2025.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the aforementioned order, the petitioner submitted a representation and the respondents rejected the same vide order dated 23.03.2026, thereafter, he approached again this Court by way of filing the present writ petition.

This Court finds that the Advertisement for the post of Nurse Grade-II was issued in the year 2018, under which the petitioner applied for Outstanding Sportsman Quota, however, the selection process has been concluded long ago and further, no vacancy for the post of Nurse Grade-II under the Outstanding Sportsman Quota is lying vacant.

5. This Court finds no merit in the present petition and the same is hereby dismissed.
6. All pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of.
