Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this Criminal Revision, the petitioner has approached this Court, seeking the following relief:- “The present appeal may very kindly be allowed and the impugned judgment dated 05.05.2025 passed by the learned Family Court in Case No.623/2020 may very kindly be modified and enhance the monthly maintenance allowance awarded to petitioner No.1 and petitioner No.2 to 40,000/- ₹40,000/- being just and reasonable amount, commensurate with the respondent’s income and the petitioners needs justice be done.” 2. During the course of hearing of this petition, the matter was referred for mediation. Report from the learned Mediator has been received, in terms whereof, the matter has been amicably 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the Judgment?Yes 2 2026:HHC:38359 settled between the parties in terms of compromise which stands appended with the report of learned Mediator. 3. Accordingly, as prayed for, these proceedings are closed by modifying the order under challenge by observing that now the issue between the parties shall be construed to have been settled in terms of settlement which was arrived at between the parties before learned Mediator. The terms of settlement shall form part of the record and the same shall be read as part of this order also. It goes without saying that both the parties shall abide by the terms of the mutual agreement entered into between them, in letter and spirit. 4.
