Learned Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the claim of the petitioners for grant of Assured Career Progression Scheme stands rejected on the ground that the petitioners are not possessing the minimum qualification of matriculation, which is being agitated by them. Learned Counsel further submitted that 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:5000-DB 2026:HHC:4998-DB similar case has been decided by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi against the employee therein who, thereafter, preferred Special Leave Petition No.16888 of 2018, titled Ravinder Singh & Ors. Versus Union of India & Ors., which is pending adjudication before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. Learned Counsel also submitted that these petitions can be disposed of with the observation that the parties herein shall also be governed by the adjudication by the Hon’ble Supreme Curt of India in the above matter. It was not disputed on behalf of the respondents that indeed, the issue raised by the petitioners herein is pending adjudication before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India by way of Special Leave Petition. Therefore, these petitions are disposed of with the observation that the parties herein shall also abide by the outcome of the proceedings pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, reference whereof has been given hereinabove.
