Since common questions of fact and law are involved in both the petitions, therefore, these petitions are clubbed together and decided by this common judgment. However, for the sake of brevity and convenience, facts of WPSS No. 830 of 2026 alone are being considered and discussed. 5. Petitioner obtained D.El.Ed. qualification from the State of Uttar Pradesh, based on an ordinary resident certificate of that State. He participated in a selection for appointment as Assistant Teacher, Government Primary School in District Almora. Since his result has not been declared by District Education Officer concerned, therefore, he has approached this Court seeking writ of mandamus directing the authority to issue select list. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made a representation to District Education 2026:UHC:1966 Officer, Almora, who may be directed to take decision thereupon. 7. Learned State Counsel submits that he has no objection, if the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners. 8. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petitions are disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make fresh representation(s) giving all details. If petitioners make representation within 48 hours to the District Education Officer concerned, decision thereupon shall be taken by District Education Officer, as per law, within four weeks thereafter. Appointment(s) made on the post of Assistant Teacher(s) shall abide by decision on the representation(s).
