Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 2. It is the grievance of the petitioners that notice dated 31.07.2026, which is challenged in these writ petitions, is against a dead ( 2026:JHHC:24421 ) 3 person, that too without giving any details of the land and the property. 3. After going through the same, I find that the notice was issued to Suresh Kumar Modi and Naresh Kumar Modi, Jalan Road, Upper Bazar, Ranchi, to vacate their shop / establishment /resident within a period of three days. There is no plot number or detail of the area mentioned in the said notice. An M.S. plot was mentioned but the number has been struck off. Thus, the notice is vague and without any description of the land. 4. Further, from the Annexures of these writ petitions, it is clear that both Suresh Kumar Modi and Naresh Kumar Modi have died, thus, the notice is also against the dead persons. 5. Considering the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to set aside notice dated 530 dated 31.07.2026. 6. The matter is remanded to the Ranchi Municipal Corporation.
