Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction quashing the confirmation letter bearing no.02484 issued by the Respondent No.2 (placed at Annexure-M) and any award or action consequent/pursuant to the same; and 2. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction to the Respondent No.2 to consider the Petitioners Representation dated 23/05/2024 (placed at Annexure-T) and consequently allot the Developed Sites in favour of the Petitioners as per the Scheme in respect of the Petitioners’ scheduled properties / land acquired by the Respondent No.2; 3. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction to the Respondent No.5 to take a time-bound decision in the Appeal numbered RA/YLK-424/2022 filed by the Petitioners (placed at annexure-j), within 3 months from the date of order passed by this Hon’ble Court; and, - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30074-DB WP No. 35189 of 2024 4. Pass any other orders within the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity, including orders regarding compensation.” 2. Heard Sri Avani Chokshi, learned counsel for petitioners, Sri Shivaprasad M. Shantanagoudar, learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2, Sri S.S.Haveri, learned counsel for respondent Nos.3 and 4 and Smt. Hemalatha V., learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent No.5. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that due to efflux of time, prayer Nos.1 and 3 have been rendered infructuous. Therefore, the petition is thus, restricted for consideration of a representation by the petitioner submitted to respondent Nos.1 and 2 – Bengaluru Development Authority, seeking allotment of an alternate site. 4. In that light, we deem it appropriate to dispose the writ petition, with a direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 - Bengaluru Development Authority to consider the representation of the petitioner for the purpose for which it is submitted, within an outer limit of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, if not earlier. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30074-DB WP No. 35189 of 2024 5.
