The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeing the following relief:
“…to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction on the part of Respondent No.3 in investigating the case for filing charge sheet, consequent arrest of Accused Respondents 4 to 6 in Crime No.785 of 2023 on the file of Nallapadu Police Station, Guntur District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the Respondent No.3 to set the law in motion by examining the prosecution witnesses for filing Charge Sheet and consequent arrest of Respondents 4 to 6 the Accused in Crime No.785 of 2023 on the file of Nallapadu Police Station, Guntur District and pass such order or other orders…”
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 3rd respondent has not completed the investigation. 3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, submitted that the respondent police have completed the investigation and filed the charge sheet before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate on 08.09.2024. 4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
