Mr. Prashant Khanna, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Pankaj Chaturvedi, learned counsel for the respondent-Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan. 3. Mr. Neeraj Garg, learned counsel for the respondent-UPNL. 4. According to petitioner, she was engaged through outsourcing as a Junior Engineer in Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan at Haridwar in the year 2015; she has been serving continuously in that capacity ever since then to the satisfaction of all concerned; however, the Secretary (Administration) of Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan has written a letter to the Executive Engineer, Uttarakhand Jal Sanstha, Haridwar, to terminate the sponsorship of the petitioner. The ground indicated in the communication, issued by Secretary (Administration) dated 28.01.2026, is that petitioner’s qualification is not as per 2011 Rules. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after taking work from the petitioner for more than ten years, her engagement cannot be discontinued on the lame excuse that her qualification is not as per the Rules. He submits that petitioner has given her best to the Department and her work and conduct have been appreciated by all concerned, therefore, discontinuing her engagement 2026:UHC:1016 after such a long lapse of time would be unjust. 6. Mr. Pankaj Chaturvedi, learned counsel appearing for Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan, however, submits that a requisition was sent for supplying 288 vacancies on the post of Junior Engineer in Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan to Uttarakhand Public Service Commission and on the recommendation of the Commission, now all the vacancies have been filled. Thus, he submits that there is no post available against which petitioner can be accommodated. He, however, submits that if petitioner has any grievance, then she can approach Chief General Manager, Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan, by making a representation. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make a representation to the Chief General Manager, Uttarakhand Jal Sansthan. If petitioner makes a representation within two weeks from today, a decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within four weeks thereafter.
