The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to defreeze the petitioner’s bank account bearing A/c. No.20248024135 and permit the petitioner to operate the same, by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 10.01.2026. 2. A perusal of the records shows that the petitioner’s bank account has been frozen pursuant to the direction issued by the second respondent, on the ground that a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- was fraudulently transferred to the petitioner’s bank account. 3. In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that it would suffice if a lien is marked for a sum of Rs.2,00,000/-.
