The petitioner is an accused in connection with Maranghada P.S. Case No.19 of 2025. It has been alleged that the uncle of the informant was murdered by unknown persons. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the confession of co- accused as well as his self-confession. Learned counsel submits that only a motorcycle was seized from the possession of the petitioner and the said motorcycle belongs to the petitioner. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 30.06.2025 and neither there are any eye- witnesses nor there are any strong circumstantial evidence to implicate the petitioner in the commission of the murder. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that the petitioner seems to have been implicated only on the basis of suspicion, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Maranghada P.S.
