Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General, Ms. Ranajan Pathania and Mr. Bhupinder Pathania, learned counsel, accept notice on behalf of the respective respondents. 2. The case set up by the petitioner is that :- The petitioner superannuated from the post of Associate Professor (Mathematics) in Respondent No. 4-College on 31.05.2018, on attaining the age of superannuation. The said college is 95% aided by the State of 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes 2 Himachal Pradesh. The retirement gratuity has been revised to Rs. 20 lakhs with effect from 01.01.2016. Since the petitioner superannuated on 31.05.2018, he is also entitled to the revised gratuity ceiling limit of Rs. 20 lakhs, but respondents No. 4 & 5 have only released a sum of Rs. 10 lakhs. The balance amount of Rs. 10 lakhs have been withheld from the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the balance amount of Rs. 10 lakhs are required to be released in the ratio of 95:5 by the State and respondent No. 4-college, respectively. Learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner has preferred several representations for the redressal of the above grievance, but the same have not been considered by the competent authorities till date. 3. In view of above and considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with directions to the respondents/competent authority to consider the representations of the petitioner at Annexures P-4, P-5 and P-7, in accordance with law, within six weeks from today.
