Petitioner who is arrayed as accused in Crime No.66/2026 registered by Malleshwaram Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 132, 351(2), 352, 351(3) of BNS, 2023, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking anticipatory bail. 2. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.66/2026 was registered by Malleshwaram Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the aforesaid offences against the petitioner herein based on the first information dated 25.04.2026 received from Manasa Krishnappa - Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, First Zone, Bengaluru. Apprehending arrest in the said case, petitioner had filed Crl. Misc. No.4687/2026 before the jurisdictional Sessions Court, which was rejected on 02.06.2026. Therefore, she is before this Court. 4. Perusal of the averments found in the first information would reveal that petitioner is a resident of apartment known as Brio Lake Breeze Apartment, and it appears that there is - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30109 CRL.P No. 8027 of 2026 some dispute in the Owners Welfare Association of the said apartment complex. The allegation in the first information is that in the background of the said dispute, petitioner who had come to the office of the first informant had abused her using filthy language, criminally intimidated her and had caused obstruction for performing her duties. 5. Petitioner is a married lady aged about 41 years. She has no other criminal antecedents. She has undertaken to cooperate with the police for the purpose of investigation. Considering the nature of allegations found in the first information as well as the background in which the incident in question had taken place, I am of the opinion that petitioner's prayer for grant of anticipatory bail is required to be answered affirmatively. Accordingly, the following order: 6. The petition is allowed. The respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are directed to release the petitioner in the event of his arrest in Crime No.66/2026 registered by Malleshwaram Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 132, 351(2), 352, 351(3) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:30109 CRL.P No. 8027 of 2026 1. The Petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the investigating officer. 2. Petitioner shall regularly appear before the Trial Court without fail unless exempted by the Trial Court for valid reasons. 3. Petitioner shall not tamper with the prosecution witness and he shall co-operate with the police for investigation and appear before them whenever called upon. 4.
