ORAL ORDER In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for a writ of mandamus against the respondents to pay the compensation as the land was vested with the Government under Section 38 of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961. - 3 -

2. Having taken note of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Advocate, it is open for the petitioner to produce the relevant documents to establish his legal right over the property in question in terms of the language employed under Section 38 of the Karnataka Land Reforms Act, 1961 and thereafter make such an application to the respondent authorities seeking compensation. 3. In that view of the matter, I am of the view that it is open for the petitioner to make one more representation to the competent authority along with the relevant document to establish the right over the property. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
