1. Heard Mr. Vishvanath Prasad Shrivas, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Ms. Anusha Nayak, learned Deputy Government Advocate for the State/respondent No.1.

“It is, therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this petition and quash/set- aside the entire Criminal Proceedings of Criminal Case No.2547/2019 pending before the Judicial Magistrate First Class Bilaspur, District Bilaspur (C.G.) in which cognizance has been taken against the petitioners under Section 494, 498(A) of Indian Penal Code, in the interest of justice of justice.”
3. As per the status report received, the trial has already been concluded on 17-1-2024. In view of the same, the relief sought in the present petition has become infructuous as nothing survives for
consideration in this petition by this Court.
4. Consequently, the present petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No order as to costs.
5. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
