Counsel for the respective parties urged several contentions. The arguments were heard and the papers perused with care. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:29767 WP No. 10804 of 2026 3. Counsel appearing for the respective parties jointly submit that the issue involved in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.No.106898/2025 and connected matters, disposed of on 15.12.2025. Hence, this writ petition also requires to be disposed of in terms of the order passed in the aforesaid writ petitions. 4. The oral submission is placed on record. 5. Taking note of the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in W.P. No.106898/2025 and connected matters, disposed of on 15.12.2025. A mandamus is issued to the respondents-Corporation to pay interest on the delayed payment of leave encashment at 6% per annum within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event the Corporation fails to pay the said amount within twelve weeks, the petitioners shall become entitled to interest at 9% per annum from the date the payment fell due until the date of its realization. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:29767 WP No. 10804 of 2026 6.
