JUSTICE M.I.ARUN ORAL ORDER On the ground that petitioner has encroached upon government property, the impugned notice at Annexure-F to the writ petition dated 04.02.2026 has been issued by the respondent to the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same, the present petition is filed. 2. The case of the petitioner is that she has not encroached upon any government property. 3. Per contra, the case of the respondent is that the petitioner has indeed encroached upon government property and what has been issued to the petitioner is only a notice requiring her to show cause as to why action should not be initiated. 4. It is noticed that Annexure-F is only a notice issued to the petitioner and she is obliged to reply to the same, failing - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13024 WP No. 6760 of 2026 which, the respondent is entitled to initiate appropriate action against the petitioner. 5. It is submitted by the petitioner that she has submitted a reply (vide Annexure-G to the writ petition) to the said show cause notice dated 18.02.2026. 6. Under the circumstances, the respondent is required to initiate appropriate action only after examining the reply given by the petitioner and also after giving her a personal hearing. 7. Hence, the following: ORDER (i) The petitioner shall appear before the respondent on 24.03.2026 at 11.00 a.m. without further notice; (ii) The respondent shall consider the reply of the petitioner and hear the petitioner and only thereafter take a decision in accordance with law; - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:13024 WP No. 6760 of 2026 (iii) The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
