Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: " (A) Issue a Writ or direction or appropriate order in the nature of certiorari and set-side and quash Annexure-A. Police Notice vide No/Vijayanagara station/Pra.V/No.04/2025 dated 06-06-2025 to appear before the Third Respondent for interrogation on such terms and conditions that this Hon'ble Court deems fit under facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice. (B) Issue a Writ or direction or appropriate order in the nature of certiorari and seta-side and quash Annexure-B. Police Notice vide No/Vijayanagara station/Pra.V/No.04/2025 dated 06-06-2025 to appear before the Third Respondent for interrogation on such terms and conditions that this Hon'ble Court deems fit under facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice. (C) Issue a Writ or direction or appropriate order in the nature of certiorari and seta-side and quash Annexure-C. Police Notice vide No/Vijayanagara station/Pra.V/No.04/2025 dated 06-06-2025 to produce the documents as sought for in the police notice, on such terms and conditions that this Hon'ble Court deems fit under facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice. A joint memo has been filed signed by the petitioner, counsel for the petitioner, representative of respondent No.4 and the counsel for respondent No. 4, which reads as under: "The petitioner and the 4th Respondent respectfully submit as follows: 1. The above Writ Petition is filed challenging the Police Notice bearing No.Vijayangara Station/Pra.V/No.04/2025 dated 06.06.2025 issued by the Police Inspector, Vijayanagara Police Station, Mysuru, directing the Petitioner to appear before him. 2. During the pendancy of the above writ petition, the Petitioner - Bank and the 4th Respondent have amicably resolved all disputes and differences relating to the loan transactions, SARFAESI proceedings, criminal complaints, police proceedings and all connected litigations. 3. The parties have entered into a Memorandum of Compromise dated 11.06.2026, wherein all disputes have been settled amicably and the terms of settlement have been reduced into writing. 4. As per the terms of the Memorandum of Compromise, the 4th Respondent has specifically agreed that she has no objection for quashing the impugned police notice and all connected police proceedings challenged in the present writ petition. 5. In view of the amicable settlement arrived at between the parties, the cause of action for prosecuting the present writ petition no longer survives and the writ petition has become infructuous. Wherefore, the Petitioner and the 4th Respondent jointly pray that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to: - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:29540 WP No. 17187 of 2025 a) Take this Joint Memo on record; b) Record the settlement arrived at between the Petitioner and the 4th Respondent under Memorandum of Compromise dated 11.06.2026; c) Dispose of W.P.No.17187/2025 (GM- Police) as settled/infructuous and pass such other order as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity. WEHREFORE, the Petitioner and the 4th Respondent respectfully pray that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to dispose of the above writ petition in terms of this Joint Memo and the Memorandum of Compromise dated 11.06.2026." 3.
