Sandeep Sharma, J. (Oral)
Pursuant to order dated 02.09.2026, petitioner Chetan Kumar has come present in person, whereas respondents No. 5 and 6 have not been able to come present on account of miscommunication. Besides above, official from Jal Shakti Vibhag has also come present. 2. Though having regard to the nature of dispute inter se parties, this Court had referred the matter to mediation before Sh. 2
N.K. Sood, learned Senior Counsel, but till date, matter has not been settled inter se parties. 3. Petitioner, who is present before this Court, states that he would be content and satisfied in case storage tanks kept by him on the lintel of his house are filled at once, and thereafter, 100 litres of water is supplied to him per day, as per the agreed terms. 4. Sh. V.B. Verma, learned counsel for respondents No. 5 and 6, states that he has no objection to aforesaid innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. He states that though as per agreed terms, petitioner and his family are to be supplied 100 litres of water per day, but as per direction issued by this Court, storage tanks kept upon the lintel of his house would be filled only once and thereafter, petitioner would also be entitled to receive water as per the terms of compromise deed dated 20.03.2020 (Annexure P-9). 5.
In view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the instant petition and accordingly, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.5 and 6 to ensure that 100 litres of water per day is supplied to the petitioner as per compromise deed detailed hereinabove, but at first instance, all the storage tanks kept on the lintel of the petitioner's house shall be filled, thereafter petitioner shall be entitled to receive only 100 litres of water per day. Needless to say, petitioner shall always be at liberty to file appropriate proceedings in appropriate court of law qua the dispute, if any, with regard to
