8. sg 10-06-2026 Ct. 19 WPA 11911 of 2026 Amal Kumar Dua Versus The State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Dhananjay Banerjee Mr. Archan Dutta Mr. Partha Sarathi Mishra Mr. Narayan Ch. Das …for the petitioner Mr. Nilanjan Bhattacharjee Ms. Jayita Dhar Chakraborty Mr. Rhitam Chatterjee …for the State
None appears on behalf of the State at the time when the matter is taken up for hearing. Mr. Bhattacharjee, learned Senior Standing Counsel, who usually represents the State of West Bengal, is present in Court and is requested to appear in this matter along with a junior of his choice. Let the appointments of Mr. Bhattacharjee along with a junior of his choice be regularized by the competent authority. Let a copy of the writ petition be served upon the junior of Mr. Bhattacharjee in course of this day. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, in his usual fairness, submits that the writ petition is not maintainable in its present form. In the light of the submission of the learned Advocate for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as not maintainable.
