D/L Item No. 28 19.02.2026 KOLE 266045 FMA 716 of 2008 Kalika Giri & Ors. -Vs.- Indian Iron & Steel Co. Mr. K. B. S. Mahapatra, Mr. Aditya Shit, … for the appellants. Mr. L. K. Pal, Mr. B. B. Bhula … for the respondent. Learned Advocate for the appellants says that by an order dated January 22, 2020, a Coordinate Bench had directed the learned Advocate for the appellants to ascertain whether all the appellants are alive and if any appellant was found to be dead, to take necessary steps in that regard. Learned Advocate tells today that he has written letters to all the appellants. None of the appellants has replied to his letter or has contacted him. Therefore, he has no instructions. It appears that the appellants are not interested in proceeding with the appeal. FMA 716 of 2008 is, thus, dismissed. (Arijit Banerjee, J.) (Apurba Sinha Ray, J.)
