This Court, vide order dated 11.11.2025 passed in MCRC No. 7324 of 2025, while allowing the bail of the petitioner, namely, Navnoor Singh, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of that order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act) Bilaspur, District- Bilaspur (C.G.) vide her request letter dated 07.05.2026 has requested for grant of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 06 months time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the P.U.D. that the case was received by the another Court on transfer on 24.04.2026. The record further reveals that one of the accused, namely Navnoor, who was released on bail, remained absent before the Court concerned. Owing to the non- appearance of the said accused, the proceedings could not progress as scheduled and delay occurred in the trial. Accordingly, she sought extension of time and has prayed for grant of a further period of six months for concluding the trial and final disposal of the case. 5. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting six months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 04 months time for concluding the trial from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
