2/16.03.2026 Heard Mr. Mohit Prakash, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Special P.P. for the State.
The petitioner is an accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 350 of 2023 corresponding to NDPS Case No. 9 of 2024.
It appears that the prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B. A. No. 8243 of 2024.
The allegation reveals that 130 bottles of Onerex cough syrup and 288 pieces of Winspasmo Forte medicine were recovered from a carton.
It appears that the petitioner is in custody since 25.04.2024. It also appears that out of 8 charge-sheeted witnesses only 1 witness has been examined so far.
Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Gumla in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 350 of 2023 corresponding to NDPS Case No. 9 of 2024, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall remain physically present before the learned trial court on each and every date till the conclusion of trial unless prevented by sufficient cause.
