In the said application, the petitioner, who is the father of the third respondent, seeks maintenance from the third respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that, though the application was submitted on 06.12.2024, no steps have been taken by the first respondent to dispose of the same, resulting in monetary hardship. 3. Mr. D. Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner’s application dated 06.12.2024 will be considered and disposed of on merits within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
