Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Karra P.S. Case No.33 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Section 111 (2) and 3 (5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Section 25 (1- B)a, 25 (6), 26, 35 of the Arms Act and Section 17 of C.L.A. Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner being member of P.LF.I. Extremists Group, was demanding ransom from the shopkeepers and was arrested by police. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. Drawing attention of this Court towards para-15 of the instant bail application, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent. It is next submitted that though charge-sheet has already been submitted in this case but no witness has been examined as yet. It is then submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and that he will not annoy or disturb the witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case. It is further submitted that the petitioner has been in custody since 07.05.2026 as has been mentioned in para-16 of the instant bail application. It is lastly submitted that the co- accused person with similar allegation has already been admitted
to bail by this Court vide order dated 18.07.2026 in B.A. No.6686 of
2026. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail.
Learned Addl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.
Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Khunti in connection with Karra P.S. Case No.33 of 2026 with the condition that he will co-operate with the trial of the case, furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case.
