JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER 27.02.2026 Mr. SI Akand, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant at the outset submits that there is an inadvertent error in the prayer for seeking the relief for restoration of the accompanying writ petition which ought to have been for recalling the order dated 21.01.2026 passed in WP(C)No.880/2025, inasmuch as, a mistake had crept in the order passed by the Court on 21.01.2026 as regards the submission of the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents that the amount of ex-gratia payment of Rs.4,00,000/- having been deposited in the account of the writ petitioner. 2. Taking into account the above, it is the opinion of this Court that the instant application be construed to be an application seeking recall of the order dated 21.01.2026. 3. Ms. N Bordoloi, the learned Standing Counsel, Revenue and Disaster Management Department as well as Mr. J Handique, the learned Government Advocate, Assam shall obtain the necessary instructions on the instant application and apprise this Court on the next date fixed. 4. List the matter on 20.03.2026. 5. The learned counsel for the applicant shall serve extra copies of the instant application to the learned counsel for the respondents during the course of the day.
