This Court, vide order dated 06.11.2025 passed in MCRCA No. 1617 of 2025 has allowed the anticipatory bail application of the AKHILESH KUMAR DEWANGAN Digitally signed by AKHILESH KUMAR DEWANGAN 2 applicant, namely, Praveen Kumar Das, thereafter, CRMP No.57 of 2026 was preferred by the victim for cancellation of bail and while dismissing the said petition seeking cancellation of bail, this Court directed that the trial be concluded within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the said order, subject to there being no legal impediment. 3. The learned Additional Sessions Judge, FTC, Bastar at Jagdalpur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 15.05.2026 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the statement of only one witness, Investigator, namely, Meena Yadav is yet to be recorded, therefore, it is respectfully submitted that some more time is required for the final disposal of the present case. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of two months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
