Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- “(i) That the impugned office order dated 26.02.2024 Annexure P-1 may kindly be quashed and set aside. (ii)That the respondents may kindly be directed to grant the increment to the applicant on completion of 32 years of service and to pay arrears thereof alongwith interest @ 18% per annum.” 2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer of the petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment of the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court in CWPOA No.5536 of 2020, titled Sanjay Kumar Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and others, decided on 01.11.2023, alongwith other connected matters. Learned Additional Advocate General submits that this judgment has been assailed by the State before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:10880 is pending adjudication. 3. Accordingly, as agreed, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the adjudication by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the matter pending before it, arising out of the judgment passed in CWPOA No.5536 of 2020, titled Sanjay Kumar Versus State of Himachal Pradesh and others (supra), shall be binding upon the present parties also.
