This Court, vide order dated 20.01.2026, passed in CRR No. 117/2026, while disposing of the revision filed by the petitioner, namely, Kailash Kumar Sahu, had directed the the Family Court to conclude the proceedings under Section 144 of BNSS, preferably within a period of four months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned 3rd Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Raipur, District – Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 18.05.2026 has RAJSHEKHAR SONI Digitally signed by RAJSHEKHAR SONI 2 requested for grant of 03 month’s time for concluding the proceedings under Section 144 of BNSS. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, the proceedings under Section 144 of BNSS is under process and on 03.04.2026, the cross- examination of the wife has been completed, but the proceedings of the Family Court in the present matter is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of 03 month’s time for concluding the proceedings. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned Family Court is directed to conclude the proceedings under Section 144 of BNSS as early as possible, preferably within a further period of 03 months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. 7.
