Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has assailed the transfer order dated 16.12.2025, in terms whereof, he has been transferred from GSSS Pansai, District Hamirpur, to GSSS Loh Tikri, District Chamba, H.P. The principal ground of challenge is that the petitioner stood transferred to a station, which is a hard area without appreciating that the petitioner has earlier also served in the hard area. 2. Though, reply to the petition has not been filed but in light of the fact that the petitioner is serving at the said station i.e. GSSS, Pansai, District Hamirpur, since September, 2022, this petition is disposed of with the direction that the Department shall 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2026:HHC:10877 be at liberty to transfer the petitioner to any station, except to a station falling in tribal or hard area as defined in the transfer policy of the State and till such an order is passed, the petitioner shall be allowed to serve at the present place of posting. 3. It goes without saying that the transfer of the petitioner effected in terms of Annexure P-1, dated 16.12.2025 is hereby quashed and set aside.
