Ms. Shrutika, learned counsel, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. 2. Heard and considered the case file. 3. Petitioner’s case is that he retired as Cashier from the services of respondent-Corporation on 31.03.2019 after rendering 29 years of service. The respondents have withheld an amount of Rs.1,00,132/- from petitioner’s due and admissible retiral benefits. Petitioner has preferred a representation to respondent No.1 on 22.06.2026 (Annexure P-4) seeking release of the aforesaid retiral benefits. Yes. 2 monetary benefits have been withheld from the petitioner on account of alleged irregularity in his pay fixation, which was detected post his retirement. 4. Keeping in view that the petitioner has already preferred a representation to respondent No.1 seeking release of withheld retiral benefits, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.1/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2026 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law as also keeping in view the principles laid down in S.S. Chaudhary Versus State of H.P. and others2, which inter alia, is based upon State of Punjab and others vs. Rafiq Masih (White Washer) and others3, within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
