The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers : “(i) Quash FIR No. 263/2026 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Bilaspur for offences under Sections 109, 296, 351(3), 115(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, insofar as they relate to the present petitioner. (ii) In the alternative, direct the respondent authorities to consider and examine the CCTV footage and electronic evidence produced by the petitioner before taking any final decision in the investigation. (iii). Stay further proceedings arising out of FIR No. 263/2026 during pendency of the present petition. (iv). Pass such other order(s) as may be deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing the matter at some length, seeks permission to withdraw the present petition as the petitioner would surrender and avail the remedy of regular bail before the competent Trial Court. 4. Considering the aforesaid submission, the present CRMP stands 3 dismissed as withdrawn. However, liberty is reserved in favour of the petitioner to surrender before the competent Trial Court and move an appropriate application for grant of regular bail, which shall be considered in accordance with law.
