2. Petitioner is serving as Trained Graduate Teacher (Non- Medical) at GMS Bulang, U/c GSSS Dharmehar-Galu, Education Block Drang-II, District Mandi. Her case is that aforesaid area falls under sub- cadre/hard area. On completion of requisite period of service in the aforesaid area, petitioner preferred a representation dated 26.08.2026 (Annexure P-2) to respondent No.2 seeking transfer to a place of her 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment?
2 preference. The grievance of the petitioner is that aforesaid representation has not been considered and decided till date.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be content in case the respondents/competent authority are/is
directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation in accordance with law within a fixed-time schedule. Learned Deputy Advocate General is not averse to this prayer.

Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, Annexure P-2, in accordance with law and Rules/Policy governing the field within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also to stand disposed of.
