03/27.07.2026 Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
2. It is the grievance of the petitioners that in the Register-II, name of some other persons has been recorded who are unknown to the family, though the petitioners are descendants and the legal heirs. It is submission of the petitioners that their name should be recorded in the Register-II.
3. After hearing the parties, it is first to be decided as to whether there is any typographical or clerical error in the records or not. If there is any typographical or clerical error, that can be corrected by the Circle Officer. If there are some rival claims, the only remedy is to approach the appropriate Civil Court.
4. Thus, I direct the petitioners to file an appropriate application before the Circle Officer, Senha, Lohardaga who will see the grievance of the petitioners and will pass an appropriate order after hearing all the
parties concerned. If it is found that there is a genuine title dispute, the parties should approach the Civil Cout.
5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. Pending, interlocutory applications, if any stand disposed of.
