This bail application has been filed on behalf of Sanjay Kumar @ Monu Kumar who is in custody since 27.08.2025 in connection with Hazaribag Mufassil P.S. Case No. 144 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 331(4) and 303(2) of the BNS, 2023 pending in the Court of learned CJM, Hazaribag, is pressed into motion. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the FIR and the only allegation against him is the recovery of a battery which is alleged to have been stolen. Similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this Court as well as by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
