Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. This application has been filed by the petitioner praying for extension of time. By order dated 21.01.2026 in AB No. 2512/2025, this Court directed the petitioner Jehirul Hoque Talukdar @ Jeherul Islam to appear before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M), Guwahati in connection with PRC No. 3290/2025 within 10 (ten) days from that date. Mr. Sikdar has now submitted that due to personal difficulty, the petitioner could not appear before the learned Trial Court within the stipulated period, as directed by this Court and, therefore, he prays for some more time to that effect. Having heard the learned counsel for both the sides, the petitioner is directed to appear before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M), Guwahati in connection with PRC No. 3290/2025 within 10 (ten) days from today without fail.
