This Court, vide order dated 15.12.2025 passed in MCRC No. 7837/2025, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Anup Kumar Tomar, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 06 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raigarh, District – Raigarh (C.G.) through the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Raigarh (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 14.05.2026 has requested for grant of 06 month’s time for concluding the trial. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the present case is at the stage of prosecution evidence, and out of 13 prosecution witnesses only 2 witnesses have been examined by the trial Court, the trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of 06 month’s time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of 03 months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. 7.
