D.NO.14-120, SAI KUTEER ROAD, PRODDUTUR TOWN, KADAPA 2 Dr. YLR, J W.P.No.13525 of 2026 Dated 08.05.2026 DISTRICT - 516360 ...RESPONDENT(S): Counsel for the Petitioner: MUNNANGI THANMAI KRISHNA Counsel for the Respondent(S): GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: The Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:- “…to issue a writ order or direction more particulary one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondents in not registering FIR based on the report dated 22.04.2026 given by the petitioner to the 4th respondent as illegal arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2nd to 4th respondents to register the FIR against the 5th and 6th respondents on the basis of the report dated 22.04.2026 given by the petitioner and to conduct investigation in accordance with law and to take necessary action against the 5th and 6th respondents and to pass….” 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. Ms.Munnangi Thanmai Krishna, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the action of respondent No.4 in not registering the FIR, despite the petitioner submitting the representation dated 22.04.2026. 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that the complaint of the petitioner dated 22.04.2026 is registered as a case in Cr.No.55 of 2026 for the alleged offences 3 Dr. YLR, J W.P.No.13525 of 2026 Dated 08.05.2026 punishable under Sections 115(2), 351(2), 79 read with 3(5) ‘the BNS’ by the Station House Officer, III Town Police Station, Proddatur, Kadapa District. 5. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, and recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent No.4 to bring the investigation to a logical conclusion by filing appropriate proceedings before the learned jurisdictional Magistrate, in accordance with law, as early as possible in accordance with law. 6. With the above observations and directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
