According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners, the first petitioner's husband is the third respondent and he had attacked them on 14.12.2025 and on the basis of her complaint, FIR has been registered in Crime No.187 of 2025 on the file of the second respondent police station. He further submits that the third respondent has also filed a counter case in crime No.188 of 2025. However, despite several compliants lodged as against the third respondent, the third respondent is continuously harassing the petitioner and her family members despite getting divorce. He further submits that the third respondent is a history sheeter. So far, the second respondent police have not initiated any effective action and therefore, due to the threat, the present petition has been filed. 3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first and the second respondents submits that they would conduct an enquiry with regard to both the complaints in crime Nos.187 of 2025 and 188 of 2025 and complete the same within a period of one month. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 4. Recording the said submission, there shall be a direction to the second respondent police to conduct an enquiry and complete the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The enquiry shall be supervised by the first respondent. 5.
