Heard Mr. Aman Kumar Rahul, learned counsel for the appellant and learned A.P.P. 2. This appeal is directed against the order dated 13.04.2026 passed in Misc. Criminal Application No. 468 of 2026 arising out of Sadar (Mesra O.P.) P.S. Case No. 512 of 2025 corresponding to C.I.D. P.S. Case No. 34 of 2025 by the learned A.J.C.-XVIII-cum-Spl. Judge, C.I.D./ATS, Ranchi whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. 3. It has been alleged that on an information a black safari vehicle was intercepted by the police and on search of the vehicle, the appellant and other accused persons were found present. From the possession of the appellant, one pistol and one magazine with four live cartridges were recovered. 2026:JHHC:22056-DB 2 4. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that he is in custody since 22.10.2025. 5. It has further been submitted that one of the co- accused Ravi Anand from whose possession three live cartridges were recovered has been granted bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Appeal (D.B) No. 1596 of 2025. 6. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant. 7. Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the appellant and the fact that one of the co-accused has been granted bail as noted above, we while setting aside the order dated 13.04.2026 passed in Misc. Criminal Application No. 468 of 2026 arising out of Sadar (Mesra O.P.) P.S. Case No. 512 of 2025 corresponding to C.I.D. P.S. Case No. 34 of 2025 by the learned A.J.C.-XVIII-cum-Spl. Judge, C.I.D./ATS, Ranchi, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C.-XVIII-cum-Spl.
