This Court, vide order dated 04.07.2024 passed in MCRC No. 2672 of 2024, while allowing the bail of the applicant, namely, Nandlal Rathour had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an PREETI KUMARI Digitally signed by PREETI KUMARI Date: 2026.06.19 16:35:15 +0530 2 earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on one occasions also, this Court had granted extension of time for compliance of the order dated 04.07.2024. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali District- Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 01.06.2026 has requested for grant of four months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that the evidence of 03 prosecution witnesses has already been recorded in the present case, the evidence of the remaining 09 prosecution witnesses shall be recorded upon securing the presence of the accused, thereafter, the statement of the accused, defence evidence. Therefore, it is respectfully submitted that a period of four (04) months is required for the final disposal of the present case. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
