The Court:- The instant writ application has been preferred challenging a show cause notice dated 9th April, 2026. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that he has filed his reply to the said show cause which is at page 81 of the writ application. Mr. Ghosh, the learned Counsel appearing for the Kolkata Municipal Corporation submits that the impugned notice which has been challenged is only a show cause notice and no proceeding has been initiated as yet. Considering the submissions of the parties, the instant writ application stands disposed of with the direction that the respondent-Kolkata Municipal Corporation prior to taking any action for demolition shall give a hearing to the petitioner and also consider the reply to the show cause filed.
