This petition is filed seeking direction to respondents No.3 and 4 to award compensation in favour of the petitioners on account of loss sustained due to wild animals intervention and destroying the crops standing on the land owned by the petitioners. 2. Learned Additional Government Advocate furnishes a memo along with a copy of the Government Order dated 30.04.2011, providing for payment of compensation with respect to Wildlife Intervention and loss to the farmers and livestock. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:28509 WP No. 5287 of 2022 3. Referring to the same, learned AGA submits that a necessary application in this regard is required to be filed before respondent No.3, whereas in the instant case, the petitioner has filed such an application before the Tahsildar-Respondent No.6. He further submits that if an application is filed before respondent No.3 as required under the said Government Order, the same would be considered in accordance with law and necessary orders would be passed thereon. 4. Learned counsel to the petitioners do not dispute the same. He submits that an opportunity be given to the petitioner to make fresh application to the respondent No.3 with a necessary direction to the respondent No.3 to consider the same in time bound manner. 5. The submission is taken on record. 6. The petitioners are at liberty to file an application before respondent No.3 within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:28509 WP No. 5287 of 2022 enclosing requisite documents and information. Based upon such application being made, respondent No.3 shall consider the same within an outer limit of three months thereafter. Accordingly, petition is disposed of. Sd/- (M.G.S.
