It is seen from the evidence that one of the seizure list witnesses has not supported the prosecution’s case. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the alleged recovery was from the two vehicles which include one ambulance and another Maruti Suzuki vehicle. There are other witnesses who are vital for the prosecution, as such, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is Rejected. 2 However, as the petitioners are in custody for one year three months and eleven more witnesses are to be examined, I direct that the evidence of the witnesses be completed by 31st December, 2026. Accordingly, CRM(NDPS) 485 of 2026 is dismissed.
